I can’t stand it.

There is nothing worse than a spare moment when that dreaded, deafening silence overwhelms the senses with the sheer absence of sound. An extended, agonising period of time when one is left alone to become lost in their own spiralling thoughts can only yield detrimental effects. It provides the subject with excessive time to overthink ideas playing on their mind until a single, and perhaps even trivial, thought has been analysed to such an extent as to reach a point when it becomes devoid of its true, original meaning.

The mind is a dangerous place.
