More resources needed for those with autism

Autism is becoming increasingly prevalent in the community. In Australia, the disorder now affects as many as one in every 100 people.

As revealed in a recent study conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, almost two-thirds of children with a disability are attending mainstream schools which do not always possess the relevant resources and training required to support any one child’s specific needs.
