Spray-paint bandit

A man has stolen numerous spray-paint cans valued at more than $1000 from a Pakenham store.

Surveillance cameras captured the male offender jemmying open the Autobarn security door beside the roller door at about 5.20am on Monday 16 May before stealing a “large amount” of spray-paint cans.

Police described the male offender as having a large build. He wore gloves and was disguised in a hooded jumper and covered his face with a bandana.

The offender drove a black Jeep and acted alone.

Police are currently examining the CCTV footage and investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
