Truck roll blocks traffic

A truck rollover has halted outbound traffic through Pakenham on the Princes Freeway.

Traffic is banked up from Pakenham through to Narre Warren after a truck jackknifed and flipped just after the Officer South Road exit about 3.30pm on Friday 1 July.

Police have closed all outbound lanes between Cardinia Road and the Princes Highway. Traffic is being diverted onto the Princes Highway.

Paramedics were called to the scene at 3.40pm and assessed two people but neither were taken to hospital.

VicRoads advised evening commuters travelling through the area to allow extra time for their trip or avoid the area if possible.
