As many as six fire trucks were required at the scene of a house fire in Officer on Tuesday night to control the flames.

CFA crews from Beaconsfield, Officer, Pakenham and Upper Beaconsfield were called to a property on O’Neil Road near the intersection of Payne Road at about 10.50pm on Tuesday 5 July.

A neighbour spotted the garage shed, which was used to store feed and other items, ablaze and alerted the property owner who contacted the emergency services.

CFA crews had the fire under control by about 11.30pm.
